White matter disorder
When the diagnosis "white matter disorder" or "abnormality of the white matter" has been made in your child, all kinds of questions arise. How bad is this? What will the future be? Will the disease be stable or will it be progressive? Will my child be handicapped and how severe will the handicap be? Will my child lose motor functions? Will my child use a wheelchair? What about the intelligence? Will my child die? What is the cause? Is there a treatment? Can we have healthy children? We are working hard to answer these questions through research.
